Mark you calendars for Cross Community’s first annual missions conference! The A.T. Lowery Missions Conference will be held September 29 – October 1, 2017. We will have several guest missionaries, including our own Kelly Blanchard and Bishop Alex Abiola. This will be a very exciting and informative weekend for CCC and our guests. 200 Initiative

Our 2 hundred initiative for November is to purchase 200 new pairs of shoes for the children of Casa Shalom Orphanage. $60 will buy each child two required pairs of shoes for their new school year. Please stop by the table located at the back of the Worship Center to pick a child’s name to help reach this goal.

Community Bible Study

We are excited to announce that Cross Community Church will be partnering with the nationally based Community Bible Study (CBS). Classes are Monday nights from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The program will run for twenty sessions. There is a one-time $40 cost that covers all sessions and food.  A meal will be served at the start of each class.Participation is open to all middle and high school students.Come join us for food, fun, and Bible study. Our Worship Ministry is looking for volunteers. If you are interested in working with media or lighting, or if you are gifted in music, please email Amanda Stacey.

“Give Thanks” Connector

Join us after service on Sunday, November 19 for our “Give Thanks” Community Connector. We will be having pumpkin pie and other treats and enjoying displays of what we, as a church family, are giving thanks for!

Path to Baptism

Water baptism is an important step of faith in the Christian life. On Sunday, November 19 following the 10:00 AM service, we will offer a brief class for those interested in water baptism. Anyone interested in making this important proclamation of faith is welcome to attend the class in room A-106 to learn more. Then for those who want to go public with their faith, we will have a baptism service on Sunday, November 26Please email Kim Berryhill if you would like to participate.

Charity Soiree

Ladies, join us Monday, December 4 at 7:00 PM for our annual Christmas Charity Soiree hosted by Girlfriends of Grace. This lovely evening will showcase beautiful tables transformed by our hostesses into charming Christmas displays. We will enjoy a dessert and coffee bar. Our guest speaker, Jackie Kendall, will be sharing “How to Keep the Spirit of Christmas Alive”. Admission for the event is a $15 gift card for gas, grocery, Target or Walmart. These cards are used throughout the year to help those in need in our community. Childcare is provided for children ages 12 and under.
