Listed here are volunteer opportunities to serve during weekends and midweek services at Cross Community Church

Worship Team

When: Serve during worship services and for special events as scheduled
Musicians Contact: Amanda Stacey
Singers Contact: Amanda Stacey
Roles/Responsibilities: Members of the worship team at Cross Community are required to be available for two rehearsals and the worship service in the week they are scheduled to serve.  All members of the worship team complete an audition and trial process and must agree to a code of standards that has been set for the team.

Greeters and Ushers

When: Either 8:00 AM Service Shores Location or 10:00 AM Service Gardens Campus
Contact: Donna Alianiello
Roles/Responsibilities: Greeters and ushers need to be aware of current announcements listed in the bulletin and Enews, and present a friendly welcoming face to visitors and regular attenders at Cross Community Church. Must be aware of classes and ministries taking place on Sunday morning to be able direct new visitors in the right direction.

Welcome Service

When: Serve during the 10:00 am service on Sunday
To Serve Contact: Deana Eaton
Roles/Responsibilities: Volunteers on the Welcome Service team help with set-up and clean-up for the coffee and snack service at the 10:00 am service. These volunteers present a friendly welcoming face to visitors and regular attenders at Cross Community Church and should be aware of current happenings at CCC listed in the bulletin and Enews and will be helpful to be aware of classes and ministries taking place on Sunday morning to be able direct new visitors in the right direction.

Children’s Ministries

When: Sunday 10:00 AM service and/or Wednesday night classes
Contact: Kelly Howell
Roles/Responsibilities: Class leaders and assistants are needed in all age levels. A heart and passion to see children grow in the knowledge of God is a top requirement for working with the outstanding Children’s Ministry staff at Cross Community Church. Training and classroom prep will be provided by the CCC staff in the area of ministry you are appointed. Background checks are completed for anyone working with children.

Community Group Leaders

When: Community groups meet throughout the week based on individual group needs
Contact: Keith Stacey
Roles/Responsibilities: Leaders with a passion for discipleship are encouraged to step into leadership of these small groups for the purpose of building community, accountability, spiritual growth, enhancement of a unified Christian worldview, and encouragement of Biblical living that honors God.
